Cotton Ginning Certificate 11

This course is for people who want to learn the skills needed for safe work practices in the cotton ginning industry.
It offers the opportunity to combine on-the-job training with off-the-job training and allows you to participate in the manufacturing process. You will gain an understanding of the various operations and principles in your workplace.

Cotton Ginning Certificate 111

This course is for people who want to learn the skills needed for safe work practices in the cotton ginning industry.
It offers the opportunity to combine on-the-job training with off-the-job training and allows you to participate in the manufacturing process. You will gain an understanding of the various operations and principles in your workplace.

Cotton Ginning Certificate 1V

This course will allow you to acquire the competencies required for safe work practices in the Cotton Ginning Industry. The course offers the opportunity to integrate on -the-job training with off-the-job training and you will gain an understanding of the various operations and principles inherent in your workplace.

Agriculture 11 Cotton Production

This course teaches the skills you need to work as a supervised farmhand. If you are a rural trainee, you can complete this course as part of your traineeship. Other students must complete work on commercial farms so that knowledge and skills can be assessed. You can choose from a range of modules to suit the requirements of your training.

Agriculture 111 Cotton Production

This course teaches you the skills need to work as a competent farmhand. You must be able to complete work on commercial farms so that knowledge and skills can be assessed. If you are a rural trainee you can complete this course as part of your traineeship. You can choose from a range of modules to suit the requirements of your training.

Farm Management

This course is for people seeking employment or currently working as a skilled farmhand with day-to -day responsibilities at a supervisory level. You can choose from a range of modules to suit the requirements of your training.

Cotton Agronomy

This course provides participants with fundamental information from the latest research and field experience in the areas of water, mineral nutrition and the coordination of crop development.

Cotton Crop Checking Techniques (Bug Checking)

This course is aimed at cotton producers, people working on cotton farms and rural workers to obtain skills required of 'insect scouts' within the cotton industry.

Cotton Pest Management

Designed for cotton producers and people who work on cotton farms who possess insect, weed and disease identification skills.

Farm Chemical User Program

This course is for farmers and other people who use pesticides and is a requirement for the purchase and use of Endosulphan from July 1, 1999. It will increase your knowledge of farm chemicals and how they work; to improve your efficiency in using farm chemicals; protect yourself , family and others by ensuring that farm chemicals are handled, used and disposed of safely.

Farm Chemical Refresher Program (1 day)

This course covers any changes in legislation and what's new with labelling, and will up date your licence for a further 5 years.

Farm Safety

Provides an introduction to managing farm safety and developing a risk management plan for your property.
